Little Tern, Life on the Water's Edge by Amanda Bell
Little Tern, Life on the Water's Edge is a story of one bird's journey from North Africa to the North East. The Trust's own Mandy Bell has created the story from her own experience of working with the Little Terns at Crimdon and Hartlepool through her work as a Little Tern Warden over recent years. Alongside the gripping story, the book also includes facts about the remarkable birds, how Durham Wildlife Trust works to protect Little Terns and how you to can help our very important colony.
Amanda Bell has self published this book to raise awareness of the Little Terns and their sensitive nesting sites, so that people can better help to protect these incredibly special visitors with all proceeds from sales raising vital funds for Durham Wildlife Trust so that it and the Little Tern Warden scheme may continue it's good work.
